This time, a very short experiment in the lossy audio format, mp3. A simple "Amen Breakbeat" has been looped, and each time it loops an extra level of compression/optional downsampling is applied to the beat. The results are quite interesting, the final steps being very difficult to hear due to low frequency response. To save you some times in downloading, I have mixed the entire collection of breaks into one high bitrate mp3 file; Keep in mind that, despite the lower rate tracks have been resampled to a higher rate, rest assured that the distortion to the sound is kept intact.
